Zac Efron Reveals How He Maintains His Insane Body

“Right now I’m probably the physically strongest I’ve ever felt.”

Zac Efron has always been known for his super hot body, but these days, he’s more ripped than he’s ever been. The actor is showing off his insane body inside and on the cover of this month’s Men’s Fitness, and he’s breaking down his fitness and diet regime.

E!Online reports, in an interview set to hit stands May, 23rd Efron admits to feeling stronger than he’s ever felt in his life. “Not in terms of bench press or how much I can squat but in how quickly I could get out of this room and destroy everything in my path,” he explained.

“If the zombie apocalypse happened right now,” he joked, “I’d definitely be able to defend myself.”

In a behind-the-scenes video, the actor admitted his diet consists of super clean eats, “I am a firm believer in not eating chemicals and really, really trying to isolate where your food is coming from. Try and keep it healthy, organic, and unprocessed.”

Efron also explained how his workouts have really evolved over the years. While in the past he trained with Navy Seals to put on size he began getting injured frequently, these days, his workouts include more plyometrics, isometrics, lots of stretching, and cardio.
