The couple, who moved out of Kris Jenner‘s home in March, are said to be building a large lagoon in the backyard of their $20 million mega-mansion in Hidden Hills, Calif. Though their three-acre estate — once owned by Lisa Marie Presley — already has not one, but two pools on the property, some people are saying the existing splashy feature isn’t enough for the parents-of-two.
“It’s for swimming and things of that nature,” a source tells Us Weekly. “They removed the old pool that was there, and this will be double the size of the old pool — and an unusual shape.”
According to its original listing, Kimye’s family home also features a “stunning master suite with dual baths, retreat, stone fireplace, skylights, enormous custom closets and mirrored dressing area, gym, steam shower, sauna, and a private patio with spa.”
In 2014, Kardashian, 35, and West, 38, bought the not-so-humble abode after renovations for their $11 million Bel Air dream home, which they purchased in 2013, starting falling behind schedule. At the time, it was rumored that the two had planned on selling the lavish residence before even moving in.
Recently, it was revealed that Kardashian’s youngest sister, Kylie Jenner, had dropped $6 million on a six-bedroom, seven-bathroom pad in the same neighborhood.
Clearly, no expense is too big when it comes to a Kardashian’s private oasis.
