Calvin Harris Is ‘Doing Better’ Following Violent Car Crash

Let’s wish him a speedy recovery.

Inside sources tell E! Online that Calvin Harris is reportedly “doing better” following his violent car accident over the weekend. “He is keeping an eye on his body to make sure he is 100% this week,” said one source close to the DJ, who added that he told his girlfriend Taylor Swift shortly after the incident occurred. “He didn’t want to alarm [her] … She was very caring when they connected on the phone when it initially happened.”

Harris was taken to a hospital on Friday (May 20, 2016) after a teenage female driving in a Volkswagen Beetle crossed over the center divider and crashed in to the SUV in which he was a passenger. He suffered from a laceration on his nose and was released shortly after.

“Adam was a passenger in a vehicle that was struck in a serious collision last night in Los Angeles,” Harris’s rep later wrote, referring to the musician by his real name, Adam Wiles. “He was examined by doctors and sustained a number of injuries. He has since been checked out of hospital and is now recovering. We wish all the other passengers involved in the incident a fast recovery.”

E! Online reports that he will still perform at OMNIA nightclub this Friday in Las Vegas despite the initial cancellation following his accident.
