The "I don't know her" saga continues

And she’s going to sing, too!

Multi-hyphenate Mariah Carey signed a big deal with the Hallmark Channel to develop, executive produce, direct and co-star in a trio of original movies, reports Deadline. She’ll also compose and produce one song for each movie.

Her first film is slated to premiere on the cable-TV network’s Countdown to Valentine’s Day in 2017. No details yet on the TV movie’s title or plot.

Carey and Hallmark have had a very successful partnership in the past. The singer’s December’s original movie A Christmas Melody, which marked Mariah’s directorial debut, was a hit, as was her musical special Mariah Carey’s Merriest Christmas.

“We are honored to continue our collaboration with the multi-talented Mariah Carey,” Michelle Vicary, EVP Programming at Crown Media Family Networks told Deadline. “It’s rare to work with a talent who can produce, direct, star and also compose original music for a project, and we know she will deliver for our viewers once again.”

But wait, there’s more Mariah coming your way. She also has a docu-series on E! called, Mariah’s Worldwhich is premiering this fall. It follows Mariah on her international tour. Check out this sneak peek!
