Your Netflix Fix: Movies and Shows Arriving in June and More!

Here’s all the latest headlines on the streaming giant.

Netflix has been busy; not only have they dropped a number of exciting new trailers but they’ve landed an enormous contract which will bring some big titles in the fall.

Are you a fan of Peaky Blinders? Well, the trailer for season three promises lots of fresh intrigue for Tommy Shelby (Cillian Murphy) and his vicious gang.

The new season finds the gang leader in the Roaring Twenties and wildly successful, but never lacking for vengeance. Expect lots of gunplay and political intrigue from the crime saga.

Today it was announced that, starting this September, Netflix will be the sole provider of Disney and it’s subsidiaries’ content for streaming. That’s right, Netflix will be the only place where you can watch movies from Pixar, Marvel and Lucasfilm. This smells a lot like a game-changer. [Gizmodo]

If you’re not familiar with Bo Burnham, now is the time to get acquainted! This 25-year-old wunderkind has a new comedy special titled Make Happy coming this summer comprised of his signature biting humor, but also incorporating loads of music and theatre.

But nothing cuts quite like his frankness. “I’m supposed to get up here and say ‘follow your dreams’ as if this is a meritocracy? It is not, okay?” he says in the trailer. “I had a privileged life and I got lucky and I’m unhappy.”

His special arrives on June 3rd.
