Gwen Stefani Teases ‘Misery’ Music Video Amidst Reports of Her and Gavin Rossdale’s Private Meeting

Gwen Stefani reportedly had a secret meeting with her old love in order to discuss her new love.

And as could be expected, the old love doesn’t wholly approve of the new love.

Stefani and Gavin Rossdale split last year after she discovered he was cheating on her with their children’s nanny. Then around October of last year, Stefani began dating her fellow Voice coach Blake Shelton. Ever since then, the two of them have been nauseatingly cute (or just nauseating, however you feel about them) by gushing about one another and writing duets together.

Since Stefani and Rossdale share three kids (Kingston, 9, Zuma, 7, and Apollo, 2), sources close to the family told Us Weekly that the exes recently had a private meeting in order to discuss how her relationship with the country singer might be affecting the boys.

Gwen had a meeting with Gavin to discuss her relationship with Blake and how it will affect the children going forward. [Gavin] wants to be consulted on everything concerning the kids and the role that Blake is playing in their lives.

As for whether or not Shelton and the Bush frontman will be developing a bromance, or semblance of a relationship, anytime soon, a source close to Shelton commented, “[Blake] has nothing to do with Gavin. He can’t forgive someone who treated his lady that way,” referring to the fact that Rossdale cheated on Stefani with their nanny Mindy Mann for three years.

The lack of affection appears to be mutual: a source told E! News that Gavin not only doesn’t approve of the bond forming between his sons and Shelton, but that he even wants to try and work things out with Gwen.

If it were up to Gavin he would want to work it out with Gwen. He is still hurt it has turned out this way and now she is in love with another man.

Meanwhile, Stefani just released the “Misery” music video teaser (the full video comes out May 31):

“Misery,” off her third studio album This Is What the Truth Feels Like, was inspired by both Rossdale and Shelton and has emotional lyrics like, “You’re like drugs, you’re like drugs to me/I’m so into you totally” and “So put me out of my misery/Hurry up, come see me.”
