The Trailer for James Franco’s ‘Mother, May I Sleep With Danger?’ Is Here

The “revamped” remake is officially here.

The trailer for the Lifetime’s Mother, I Sleep with Danger? is here — and it’s “from the twisted mind of James Franco.” At least that’s what the clip declares. Over twenty years ago, Tori Spelling starred in the original NBC movie, which saw her playing a good girl dating a very bad guy. This time around, Franco decided it might be fun to feature some lesbian vampires.

The TV movie also stars newcomer Leila George and The Leftovers star Emily Meade, as well as the 90210 alum who is back to take on the role as a worried mother who is suspicious of her daughter’s girlfriend’s intentions. Franco also makes a cameo for our viewing pleasure.

Watch above! Mother, May I Sleep With Danger? premieres on Lifetime on June 18.
