Jamie Lynn Spears is ready to tell her truth in a new TLC documentary that chronicles the rise and fall of the sister to a pop star entitled. The trailer for Jamie Lynn Spears: When the Lights Go Out has all the makings of a gritty cable narrative, beginning with a montage of tabloid headlines that chide her for teenage pregnancy.
“Nickelodeon must be furious!”
Followed by Spears self-actualizing, calling herself, “The child star who got pregnant.”
“Her life is OVER!”
“No one will know her in six months!“
Spears’ father chimes in to reiterate just how desolate her life was at the pit of her career. “Jamie Lynn, she was bad,” he says, referring to her in third-person, “It was a bad three years.”
Now, the Zoey 101 actress will make her way back to the top of the country music game without anything getting in her way, beginning with a performance at the Grand Ole Opry that she gave in March.
“I’m not just a child star, and I’m not just someone’s sister, and I’m not just a teen mom,” says Spears.
