Johnny Depp and the Hollywood Vampires Deliver the Gift of Hearing in Portugal

Let’s take a mini break from the divorce drama.

While his impending divorce battle with estranged wife Amber Heard dominates the news, Johnny Depp is halfway around the world, helping people with hearing disabilities.

Prior to their performance at the Rock in Rio Lisboa Festival on Friday, Depp, Alice Cooper, Joe Perry and all members of Hollywood Vampires visited with the Santa Casa da Misericordia de Lisboa in Lisbon, Portugal and provided complimentary hearing devices to more than 30 patients with the help of William F. “Bill” Austin and Tani Austin, founders of Starkey Hearing Foundation.

“We have our hearing, and these people do not,” said Johnny Depp, in a press statement. “To have Bill and his gang school us, and take part in the process of allowing people to hear makes today meaningful. Anytime you can find yourself making a difference — to see them — we are getting the gift.” Launch the gallery above for the photos!

The Hollywood Vampires members also include Tommy Henriksen, Robert DeLeo and Matt Sorum.

Meanwhile, the latest with Depp’s divorce is that Heard was granted a temporary restraining order after she claims he smashed an iPhone in her face, but was denied spousal support. Read the details here.
