Selena Gomez Brings Smiles to Kid Patients at Boston Children’s Hospital

Selena Gomez visited Boston Children’s Hospital over the weekend to bring the child patients who couldn’t attend her concert some music.

The Revival singer was in town for the Boston leg of her world tour, which took place at the TD Garden on Saturday (May 28).

She hung out with the patients on her day off on Friday, where she played the bongos and led a singalong to “Lean on Me,” got to the know the kids and took selfies.

People reports that Gomez told some of the young girls: “I have a show in Boston … here, tomorrow. I never know where I am because I’m always on tour. But I have the day off so I figured I’d come and say ‘Hi!'”

One mother expressed her gratitude to Gomez for meeting her daughter, writing on Instagram, “Thank you sooo much @selenagomez for making us part of your busy schedule. You are exactly what I had hoped and pictured in my mind. Sweet, genuine, open. You made sure to look each child in the eye and give them time. Such a simple gesture meant so much. You rock sister!”

Gomez’s Revival tour continues in Brooklyn, New York tomorrow (June 1).
