Michael Jackson’s $9.5 Million Mansion Is Basically Everything You’ve Imagined and More
You — yes, you — can now own a piece of Michael Jackson history.
One of the late singer’s last residences, dubbed the “Thriller Villa,” is going on sale. The Las Vegas mega-mansion, which Jackson rented from 2007 until his death in 2009, has been listed for a whopping $9.5 million. True to the King of Pop’s legacy, the massive abode is lavish, decadent and — natch — filled with Jackson memorabilia and portraits of the music icon.
Standing at 16,122 square feet on 1.7 acres of prime real estate, the luxury pad includes seven bedrooms and 12 bathrooms. If that’s not impressive enough, the house also has its own 74-seat, medieval-style chapel that can be doubled as a recording studio. (Um, is that a red carpet on the driveway as well?)
Behind its golden gates, the estate also features a bell tower, an 8,500 square foot basement that’s been transformed into Jackson’s own private art gallery, and a master bedroom that takes up an entire floor complete with a fireplace, a seating lounge, and a fully stocked wet bar. The en-suite has a huge shower with its own tiled seat and not one, not two, but three sinks.
Outside, the property boasts perfectly manicured grounds with paths and trails, two fountains, multiple trellises and outdoor seating areas, a barbecue area, a nine-car garage, and a private guesthouse with a full kitchen.
Basically, it’s a testament of Jackson’s extravagant lifestyle. Take a tour inside his home below.
