Nick Jonas opens up about the "meltdown" Demi Lovato had a couple of years ago.

June is a bad month for Hollywood couples.

Demi Lovato and Wilmer Valderrama have decided to call it quits after six years together. The two announced their break-up news on Instagram Friday night (June 3, 2016).

“After almost 6 loving and wonderful years together, we have decided to end our relationship,” they both wrote. “This was an incredibly difficult decision for both of us, but we have realized more than anything that we are better as best friends. We will always be supportive of one another. Thank you to everyone who has offered us kindness and support over the years. With only love, Wilmer & Demi.”

The pair started dating back in 2010 and have pretty much been together ever since. Lovato, 23, has credited Valderrama, 36 for supporting her through her struggles.

Although it appears to be an amicable split, the world isn’t happy about the news. The couple’s breakup is the third of the week, with both Taylor Swift and Gigi Hadid ending their relationships with boyfriends Calvin Harris and Zayn Malik, too.
