Milo Ventimiglia Says His Return to ‘Gilmore Girls’ Will Make Fans ‘Write the Angry Letters — or the Love Letters’
“It’s classic Gilmore.”
Fans have got a few more months before the Gilmore Girls revival hits Netflix but if Jess has anything to say about it, it’ll be more than worth the wait. Milo Ventimiglia, better known as Rory Gilmore’s so bad he’s good boyfriend Jess, opened up to People about what it has been like to be back in Stars Hallow and what fans can expect from Rory’s love life.
Ventimiglia revealed there was nothing that could have kept him from returning, “I don’t care if I’m in the middle of the desert in Tunisia,” he says. “I will fly back and I will be a part of this.”
As for what fans should expect from Jess and Rory, Ventimiglia thinks it’s best to go in with an open mind. “I think people should kind of couch all their expectations and hide their wants and just let the stories unfold,” he said. “And from there they can write the angry letters or the love letters.”
Luckily, no matter what kind of letters fans end up writing, Ventimiglia insisted any true GG fan will be more than pleased with the revival,”The fans are going to be excited, I’ve said this since the announcement,” he said. “It’s classic Gilmore.”
