Future, Sued Over Alleged Breach of Contract, Responds on Twitter
Paper gets everyone heated.
Rocko, the owner of A1 Recordings, hit Future with a $10 million lawsuit for breaching their 2011 contract together whereby Future would make his first six albums with his record company. Future cut a side deal with Epic Records when they signed on to distribute his albums that gave him multi-million dollar advances, which left Rocko high and dry. The producer says that the artist cut him out of 25% of his contracted earnings and says that he’s owed 20% of Future’s earnings from touring, endorsements, and the like.
Future spoke out about the lawsuit on Twitter last night (Jun. 8, 2016) through a series of subtweets.
Rocko later responded to Future’s social media shots.
