Christina Grimmie’s Twitter Account Hacked Hours After She Was Killed

Celebs React to Christina Grimmie's Shocking Death
Hollywood stars pay tribute to the Voice alum.

Who would do such a thing?

Christina Grimmie’s Twitter account was hacked following her tragic death. Just hours after the 22-year-old Voice alum was shot and killed at a concert by an unnamed man, a tweet was sent on her @TheRealGrimmie account, reading “The end.” Although the tweet sparked anger among fans who believed the message was “insensitive” and “morbid,” it was retweeted 65,000 times.

Many assumed it was posted by Grimmie’s family or management team, however, that is not the case. Her reps tell People that whoever posted the tweet (and pinned it to her wall) after her death hacked into her account. The message has since been deleted.

The last tweet that Grimmie herself sent out was a video encouraging her fans to attend the concert with Before You Exit at Plaza Live on Friday night (June 10, 2016).

Celebrities — including Selena Gomez, Adam Levine, Demi Lovato, Nick Jonas and more — all took to their own social media accounts to pay their respects to the late singer.
