Beyoncé and Jay Z Are ‘Working on Their Marriage’ After ‘Lemonade’
Not even “Becky with the good hair” can break up this couple.
As the dust settles around Lemonade, the album that seemingly revealed the trials and tribulations of Beyoncé and Jay Z’s marriage, word is spreading that the couple is staying together and trying to move past the alleged affair that rocked their relationship.
“Beyoncé and Jay are really working on their marriage. Jay is making time for Beyoncé and his family more overall,” a source tells E! News. “Beyoncé’s tour has brought Jay and Beyoncé very close. Jay has been by Beyoncé side during many of her shows so far.”
“They also have been making time for date nights with each other to some of their favorite restaurants around New York City,” the insider says. “They went on a romantic boat ride and got to laugh and enjoy the day together. They are in such a happy place as a couple…Beyoncé and Jay have found love again and it’s very obvious to all the people around them.”
After the album’s release, Jay Z responded to by referencing his wife’s latest hit record on a remix of “All The Way Up,” rapping, “You know you made it when the fact / Your marriage made it is worth millions / Lemonade is a popular drink and it still is / Survival of the littlest.” It was also rumored that he’ll be releasing his side of the story on a new album.
Recently, Beyoncé, 34, and Jay, 46, were spotted out at The Greenwich Hotel in the Big Apple during a break on the Formation World Tour. According to an insider, having Jay and daughter Blue Ivy around has made life on the road easier for Beyoncé.
“Beyoncé is working hard on her tour that has taken a toll on her body, but she has the help from Jay with Blue, and that’s important to her. She wants Blue and Jay to be with her as much as possible this summer,” the source says. “Beyoncé is a very hands-on mom and having Blue with her only strengths her performance.”
