WATCH: Melissa McCarthy and Kristen Wiig Scat the ‘Ghostbusters’ Theme Song

If you are anticipating laughing your butts off when you see the upcoming Ghostbusters reboot, this should get you even more in the mood.

Appearing on The Graham Norton Show on Friday, co-stars Melissa McCarthy and Kristen Wiig performed what director Paul Feig called their “folk lady version” of the Ghostbusters theme. Watch above (starts about 1:22)!

Feig explained the women came up with the cover of the classic Ray Parker Jr. theme as a way to “really enrage men” after several complaints were voiced that the original Ghostbusters is now being ruined with this all-female reboot.

McCarthy and Wiig were joined by co-stars Leslie Jones and Kate McKinnon, and they talked about the hullabaloo. McCarthy joked, “Fellas all across the world in their mothers’ basements rose up! We tried to explain that the other films will still exist and that it’s not an either-or situation.”

By the way, the original cast of Ghostbusters have no problem with it whatsoever… check them all out on Jimmy Kimmel Live!
