WATCH: ‘Bachelorette’ Bad Boy Chad Johnson Talks Kissing Robby Hayes’ Ex on ‘Jimmy Kimmel Live’
Chad Johnson – the meat-loving, weightlifting enthusiast, and luxury real estate agent who was recently cast away on this season of The Bachelorette – is still causing drama with Jojo Fletcher’s other men.
Yesterday, Johnson posted an Instagram photo of him kissing a woman named Hope Higginbotham, who just so happens to be current contestant Robby Hayes’ ex-girlfriend.
In the caption, he slammed Hayes and praised Higginbotham and their newfound romance:
While traveling this weekend, our paths crossed and I finally had the opportunity to meet Hope Higginbotham in person. Let me just say, she is even more beautiful in person! A great girl like her deserves so much better than someone who lies, cheats, and ends a four year long relationship in order to pursue fame on a tv show. You’re amazing, I miss you already 😍 @hopealverta .
The shade is too real.
Johnson appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live last night (June 20, 2016), where he touched on that PDA-filled photo with Hayes’ ex:
We were traveling and we just happened to see each other and things went from there. It started off as were friends, we were just kind of making jokes about it, but we… I don’t know. I don’t want to make any judgements or say where it’s going to go.
Watch his two interviews with Jimmy Kimmel below:
Hayes, a former competitive swimmer, and model from Florida, allegedly dated Higginbotham for four years up until they took some kind of break and he disappeared. That’s when she found out he was filming The Bachelorette, Reality Steve reports.
Johnson’s meddling doesn’t end there, however. He’s seemingly bought several of the other contestant’s domain names and linked it to his own Instagram profile. Check out www.robbyhayes.com, for example.
That’s right, once a Bachelorette villain, always a Bachelorette villain (and in every respect our favorite contestant to date).
Thankfully, Johnson’s games won’t only live on off-screen: he’s also going to be on the upcoming season of Bachelor in Paradise, which premieres August 2, 2016. However, he has no plans to be the next Bachelor.
He told Kimmel:
I am still single, I am still looking for love. Being the Bachelor would be amazing!…I don’t know, I think at this point I was possibly portrayed as a little too crazy to be that person…
