Lindsay Lohan Is Writing a Book About Overcoming Obstacles
The Mean Girls starlet has learned numerous life lessons the hard way, and now she plans to pass on her knowledge.
Lindsay Lohan certainly appears to have calmed her once-controversial personal life. She’s engaged to Russian businessman Egor Tarabasov and is committed to healthy living. Now, the actress has shared that she plans to pen a book about her struggles and how she overcame them.
“I am in the process of writing a book, and I am very excited to share my personal experiences in life and how to overcome obstacles,” she wrote in an email interview with Vanity Fair. “I hope that my words will connect with those who need some guidance when [or] if they are in a tough place. I am grateful that I have a voice, which I can now feel comfortable using as a platform to let people know that we all have ups and downs in life, and we can all come up from the downs if we get in touch with our inner self and spiritual side.”
Sounds promising! Lohan also shared her thoughts on her upcoming 30th birthday on July 2nd, sounding more mature than ever. “Age is only a number, right? I have learned a lot over time. I am in a wonderful place in life and look forward to the near and far future and projects that I am working on.”
The fashion magazine also asked the actress: after all the feuds and legal entanglements and troubling headlines, does she have any regrets?
“I wouldn’t call things regrets, per se. I can’t turn back time. But if I could, I would have listened more to my mother and gone back home to N.Y.C. earlier in life and chosen my friends more wisely.”
Keep an eye out for her new book!
