Man Who Found Bobbi Kristina Brown’s Body Breaks His Silence
Max Lomas, the person who found Bobbi Kristina Brown unresponsive in her bathtub in 2015, is speaking out about the late 22-year-old’s final days at home.
Almost a year since Brown’s passing, Lomas is breaking his silence and revealing exactly what transpired in the house that day on Jan. 31, 2015. According to Lomas, who was living at the residence at the time, Brown had a heated argument with boyfriend Nick Gordon over cheating allegations just hours before she slipped into a coma.
“Things were shaky. They were just trying to stay out of each other’s way,” Lomas tells People, admittedly adding that he was using drugs that night.
Lomas claims he was out partying with Gordon when they got a call from Brown accusing them of being at a strip club. After leaving the nightclub “in a hurry,” Lomas recalls, “They were arguing the whole way home. We get home and she is just sitting there on the ground all delusional… just in her own little world.”
According to Lomas, things got more intense whem Gordon viewed their home’s security footage and found cigarette butts from a brand Brown did not smoke and two empty bottles of wine inside the house. Though remembers that the couple fought that night, he insists Gordon and Brown made up before heading upstairs.
Later, Lomas says he found Brown face-down floating in her bathtub.
“I saw her there, and I picked her up out of the water and laid her on the ground,” he says, explaining that he leapt into action and performed CPR on Brown. “I saw the color of her face and that she wasn’t breathing. I called for Nick and called 911.”
He adds, “Nick was hysterical, on the ground outside, kicking and screaming.”
Brown was rushed to the hospital that Saturday morning, where she was then transferred to Emory University Hospital in Atlanta. She was in a medically induced coma for weeks before being moved to another facility in March. After having suffered from irreversible brain damage, Brown was pronounced dead on July 26, 2015 at Peachtree Christian Hospice. Her cause of death was ruled as a combination of drowning and drug intoxication.
In April, Gordon revealed that Brown had previously suffered several miscarriages before her death. He also refuted accusations that he had abused his girlfriend during their relationship.
Since Brown’s death, both her father and her cousin have accused Gordon of murder. Gordon currently has an ongoing $10 million lawsuit with Brown’s family that claims that he had assaulted Brown prior to her death. The lawsuit also allege that Gordon had given Brown a “toxic cocktail” that caused her to lose consciousness before she was placed in the tub.
“It’s not a mystery to me the same thing that happened to my daughter is what happened to Whitney,” Bobby Brown said in an interview earlier this year, referring to the similarities between his daughter’s and Whitney Houston’s deaths. “There is only one person around both occasions.”
“He knows what happened,” he continued, refusing to say Gordon’s name aloud. “I don’t know what happened that night, but he does.”
