Teresa Giudice Shares How Her Daughters Are Coping with Their Dad in Prison
The Real House of New Jersey star shares how her family is getting through this difficult time.
The two women are staying optimistic but shared that Joe will miss his daughter Gia’s Sweet 16 and 10-year-old Milania’s fifth-grade graduation during his 41-month prison sentence for fraud.
“I think about it like there’s people in the military that are not there for everything,” said Teresa. “Of course he would be there if he could … as long as we have our health, that’s all that matters. When you have your health, you have everything.”
As for Teresa, her sister-in-law says she’s not the woman she was when she went to prison for 18 months. “I think she’s different,” Gorga said. “She has a different outlook on life – she’s calmer.”
In part, Teresa says this new frame of mind is the result of yoga, which she adopted in prison and still does at home. She even shared that Joe has tried some poses!
“[In prison] I did it every day, like twice a day. Now it’s a Monday through Friday thing,” she said. “I can’t wait until Joe gets back so we can do it together!”
