Emily Ratajkowski Strips Down and Talks Taking Nude Selfies with Kim Kardashian in the Latest Issue of Harper’s Bazaar

Emily Ratajkowski is baring it all in the latest issue of Harper’s Bazaar and holding nothing back when talking about her views on feminism and nude selfies.

Ratajkowski has never been shy about her body. From the moment she burst on the scene in R0bin Thicke’s “Blurred Lines” music video to her sexy role as Ben Affleck’s mistress in Gone Girl, she’s always used her body to her advantage, but the actress/model wants you to know that getting naked isn’t just about seeking attention.

“A woman can be seeking attention and also make a statement,” she insists. “They don’t need to be mutually exclusive.”

So when Ratajkowski posed for that nude selfie with Kim Kardashian, it was much more than just a silly picture. “Some posts are more intentioned than others,” she explains. “That selfie with Kim was very intentioned, very direct. I had the tweets lined up for when it launched because I wanted those things to be what came with the image when the media started covering it.

While Ratajkowski is still disheartened by the double standards that women face when it comes to their sexuality, she does credit social media for helping bring feminist issues to the forefront. “Social media is something women didn’t have 10 years ago, and that’s a big aspect in feminism today,” she says. “I don’t have to be filtered by anyone. I choose.”
