Thinking about catching this raunchy new comedy? Here’s everything you need to know!

This summer is in desperate need of some fresh comedy. Thankfully this weekend, Zac Efron and Adam DeVine’s new movie Mike and Dave Need Wedding Dates walks down the aisle, er, into theaters packed with loads of talent and jokes a-plenty. So, in case you need a good laugh this weekend, here’s all the need-to-know info on this new flick…

Who’s in it?

Paired with Efron and DeVine are hilarious heavy-hitters Aubrey Plaza and Anna Kendrick playing a couple of deceitful party girls after a free ride to paradise.

What’s it about?

Mike and Dave Stangle (DeVine and Efron, respectively) have a habit of ruining every family gathering by going a little too hard and make a mess of things. So, when their sister gets engaged she and their parents demand that the boys find some respectable dates for the Hawaiian nuptials to help keep them in line. Enter Alice and Tatiana (Kendrick and Plaza, respectively), two wild girls who convince the Stangles to take them to the wedding by convincing them they are prim and proper. However, when they get to the island, the girls drop the act and start running amok.

Why should I care?

What does a good summer movie need? Loads of attractive actors? Check. A beautiful, scenic setting? Check. A premise bound to deliver some gut-busting, cringe-inducing, ridiculous comedy? Check, check and check!
