Happy Birthday Jaden Smith!
It’s hard to believe the child genius of Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith is only turning 18 – the young star has proved to be wise beyond his years. When Smith isn’t rapping, acting, or making fashion statements on every red carpet, he is most likely on Twitter or doing an interview proving that he is truly a philosopher at heart.
On his active Twitter, Jaden, who naturally has compared himself to the likes of Galileo, is always sharing his deep, quote-worthy thoughts with the world, along with his own unique take on letter capitalization:
"Jaden, Where Can We Expect You To Be In 5 Years?" " Gone."

In 2014, there was his very famous interview with his younger sisterWillow Smith (whose thoughts seem to be just as complicated as her older brother’s) for New York Times’ T Magazine. They shared their ever-flowing ideas on physics, mind duality, and prana energy, which left us mostly confused but also somewhat inspired:
“There’s a theoretical physicist inside all of our minds, and you can talk and talk, but it’s living.”
“Here’s the deal: School is not authentic because it ends. It’s not true, it’s not real. Our learning will never end.”
And last year, Jaden’s motivational speech on the topic of “stairs” went viral and made its way into our lives. His words seemed to make so much sense, and none at all, at the same time:
Happy 18th birthday to the young thinker we may never understand.
