Michael Strahan Opens Up About Life After ‘Live!’ with Kelly Ripa
Following his dramatic departure from the show back in May, the former football player has learned not to take life too seriously. “You know what? I’ve learned to have fun. Life is not that serious,” he told E! News on Thursday (July 7, 2016) during the screening of Ice Age: Collision Course in New York.
“We have so many things that happen that make you realize how precious life is, how you’d better enjoy every day and that your attitude is — you can determine what your attitude is,” he added. “You wake up, you make yourself happy, you make yourself whatever you want it to be, and that’s how I look at it every day that I wake up and that’s been more than in the last few months,” he said. “That’s just the way I live my life.”
Although he did not mention his former co-host Kelly Ripa (who probably still isn’t over the whole situation), he is excited about joining Good Morning America full-time. “Great, great family to work with over there. I’m looking forward to it.”
