Twitter Is Loving This Hashtag Celebrating Taylor Swift’s Downfall

Taylor Swift and Calvin Harris Allegedly Broke Up Over 'This Is What You Came For'
Also, rumors that she secretly wrote the hit song are confirmed.

Taylor Swift is trending on Twitter, and not for reasons that she would like.

Earlier today, it was revealed (and confirmed by her publicist) that before their breakup, she wrote Calvin Harris’ hit song “This Is What You Came For,” and that some of the comments he made during the song’s promotion is was ultimately lead to the demise of their relationship.

Harris then tweeted his side of things, essentially saying she wasn’t gonna do to him dirty like she did with her infamous arch nemesis Katy Perry (who did warn everyone to “Watch out for the Regina George in sheep’s clothing…”).

“Hurtful to me at this point that her and her team would go so far out of their way to try and make ME look bad at this stage though,” Harris tweeted. “I figure if you’re happy in your new relationship you should focus on that instead of trying to tear your ex bf down for something to do.”

Perry has since responded to the mention with an appropriate Hillary Clinton GIF:

Meanwhile, the rest of Twitter is ruthlessly blowing up over the news, using the hashtag #TaylorSwiftIsOverParty. Twitter is also very, very subtly (jk) suggesting that Swift’s downfall has come by incorporating GIFs of other pop stars like Perry, Kanye West, Rihanna, Beyoncé, etc. relishing in the news of her so-called party.

Even Cinnabon (?) is getting in on the fun:

Swift has yet to respond.
