Reps Confirm Rihanna and Cast of ’50 Shades’ Are Safe Following Attacks in Nice, France

Reps for Rihanna as well as the cast of Fifty Shades of Grey confirmed the stars as safe and sound after the attacks that took place in Nice, France last night (July 14, 2016) that took the lives of more than 80 people.

At least 80 people were confirmed dead along with countless injured after a man drove a truck into crowds celebrating Bastille Day, before getting out of the truck and shooting a gun in all directions. The driver, who has recently been identified as a French-Tunisian delivery driver, was then shot dead by police.

France’s President Francois Hollande declared the incident was indeed “terror attack.”

Rihanna was in the French city ahead of her scheduled Friday night (July 15, 2016) concert which has now been postponed. Her rep confirmed to Billboard that she has been declared safe.

Some of the cast of 50 Shades of Grey, including Dakota Johnson and Jamie Dornan, were filming in Nice that night. Thankfully reps confirmed the actors along with the crew have all ben declared safe.
