Tom Brady Announces He Will Serve Four-Game ‘Deflategate’ Suspension
Deflategate appears to be over.
Tom Brady announced Friday (July 15, 2016) via Facebook that he’s giving up his fight against the NFL and will accept his four-game suspension for his alleged role in Deflategate. “It has been a challenging 18 months, and I have made the difficult decision to no longer proceed with the legal process,” the New England Patriots quarterback wrote.

His update ultimately ends the ball-pressure scandal stemming from the 2014 AFC Championship Game against the Indianapolis Colts. Brady, 38, will be eligible to return in the Patriots’ Week 5 game against the Cleveland Browns.
We’re just glad Deflategate is finally over, so we can all move on with our lives.
