Johnny Depp Makes First Red Carpet Appearance Since Amber Heard Split
Johnny Depp is moving on.
The actor made his first red carpet appearance since news of his bitter divorce from soon-to-be-ex-wife Amber Heard went public. He and his Hollywood Vampires bandmate, Alice Cooper, attended the Sharkey Hearing Foundation Awards Gala in St. Paul, Minn. on Sunday evening (July 17, 2016).
Depp, who was wearing an all-back ensemble, reportedly appeared to be in good spirits, waving to the crowd before entering the gala to perform in front of the star-studded crowd, which included honorees Jennifer Garner, Buzz Aldrin, and Jay Leno.
Before performing, he and Cooper explained why this charity — it helps impoverished people suffering from hearing problems by giving them hearing aids — is so important to them. “I’ve been lucky enough to play characters like Edward Scissorhands, Captain Jack Sparrow,” Depp said (via E!
