Taylor Swift Has Officially Claimed Credit for ‘This Is What You Came For’
It’s not just Calvin Harris’ song anymore.
Taylor Swift has ditched her fake name Nils Sjoberg in the credits for “This Is What You Came For.” Less than a week after it was revealed that the singer secretly co-wrote her ex-boyfriend’s summer hit with Rihanna, the official BMI credit on the song has been changed. The adjustment was instituted “late last week,” BMI tells Entertainment Weekly.
Harris, 32, confirmed in a series of tweets that he wrote the music, produced the track and arranged the vocals and that Swift, 26, “initially” wanted to keep it secret in order to keep the focus on his music and not their relationship. However, after the “Bad Blood” singer’s team reportedly leaked the information, and so the Scottish DJ decided to protect himself.
“Hurtful to me at this point that her and her team would go so far out of their way to try and make ME look bad at this stage though,” he wrote on Twitter on Wednesday (July 13, 2016).
At least one thing is going right for Swift this week…
