Megyn Kelly Is Reportedly Telling Investigators That Roger Ailes Sexually Harassed Her

Word is spreading that Roger Ailes sexually harassed Megyn Kelly years ago amid the network bigwig’s lawsuit with former Fox News host Gretchen Carlson.

Sources close to the situation inform The Cut that Kelly is telling outside investigators, who have been hired to look into Carlson’s sexual harassment allegations against the executive, that Ailes made unwanted sexual advances toward her about ten years ago when she was a young correspondent at Fox. According to the insiders, Kelly has detailed descriptions of her harassment by Ailes.

The alleged harassment is said to have happened in mid-2000s when Kelly was just a legal correspondent in Fox’s Washington bureau.

New York magazine is reporting that Rupert Murdoch and sons Lachlan and James — the respective co-chairmen and CEO of parent company 21st Century Fox — wants Ailes removed from his post. Sources claim lawyers for 21st Century Fox have given Ailes a deadline of August 1 to resign or face being fired for cause.

As investigators continue to look into Carlson’s claims of workplace sexual harassment and discrimination, Ailes’ defenders are reportedly fuming that Kelly hasn’t spoken up to publicly defend the man that hired her.

“Megyn is being selfish,” a Fox News insider told The Daily Beast earlier this month. “It’s pretty shocking actually.”

Well, maybe now we know why she hasn’t been singing his praises.
