Something smells like rotten beef.

Selena Gomez and Charlie Puth made history recently when they performed their duet, ‘We Don’t Talk Anymore,” live for the first time ever. During her July 9 stop in Anaheim, Calif. on her Revival World Tour, Gomez pulled “best friend” Puth onstage at the Honda Center for a duet.

“I think you guys know this one already,” Gomez, 23, told the crowd as Puth, 24, was wheeled out sitting by a piano.

“We Don’t Talk Anymore,” the third hit single from Puth’s debut album, Nine Track Mind, was released in January. The song peaked at No. 35 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.

During the track’s recording, it was rumored that Gomez was dating Puth. The “Hands to Myself” later clarified that she’s not romantically involved with the “See You Again” crooner, tweeting, “He is a good one. He is MY FRIEND only lol.”

This June, a source told Us Weekly that the two, who initially met in August 2015 at an MTV Video Music Awards party, have a “flirty friendship” with each other.
