Dr. Dre Handcuffed Outside His Home After Man Told Police He Had a Gun
Dr. Dre was cuffed outside of his L.A. home on Monday (July 25, 2016) after an apparent road rage incident.
TMZ reports that police were called to the Straight Outta Compton producer’s house at 11:15 am after receiving a call of an alleged road rage dispute involving a firearm. The incident occurred when a motorist blocked Dre’s driveway, and when the rapper asked him to move, he allegedly shouted and swore as he drove away.
Dre then reportedly decided to take out his phone to record the man, which prompted the other driver to say, according to a source, “Here we go again, another black guy with a gun.”
That’s when the man dialed 911 to report someone pulled a gun on him. Although Dre was not formally arrested, TMZ reports that he was cuffed and patted down by Sheriff’s deputies.
