Courtney Stodden Pens Letter About Her Miscarriage: ‘I’ll Never Get Over This’
Just a little over a week since revealing she suffered a miscarriage while pregnant with her first child, Courtney Stodden has written a letter to the unborn baby she lost as a way to process the tragedy.
“My precious Angel,” Stodden, 21, begins in a note shared on Instagram this Wednesday (July 27, 2016). “I never had a chance to hold your tiny hand. Never will I get to kiss your little warm feet. Never will I have the fortune to look into your precious eyes.”
“I’ll never get over this… losing you,” she continues. “I hope that you know I wanted to give you life… a beautiful life — and desired so much to watch you grow into an incredible human being.”
Stodden, who revealed she was pregnant in May, miscarried at around 13 weeks in early July. The baby would’ve been her first with husband Doug Hutchison, 56.
“I know that you’re my guardian angel. You’ll forever look over me,” she concludes the letter. “My tears may never stop falling like drops of rain whenever I think of losing you but I pray to God that you know how much I love you.”
Previously, Stodden tweeted that she was “grieving” and “feeling so empty” over the loss.
