See Tyler Hoechlin as Superman in The CW’s ‘Supergirl’
Take your first peek at the heartthrob decked out as the Man of Steel!
After more than a week of Comic-Con coverage, are you burnt out on superhero news? We certainly hope not because The CW just dropped the first look at Tyler Hoechlin as Superman in the forthcoming season of Supergirl!
Standing side by side with his cousin Kara (Melissa Benoist) on the iconic emblem and clad head to toe in their matching red, white and gold garb, it’s clear the show is upping the ante for their fandom with their second outing.
Speaking of Comic-Con, executive producer Sarah Schechter mentioned during the Supergirl panel that the show plans to explore how these two cousins handle their different approaches (and perhaps responsibilities) that come with their powers.
“I think that Clark has a very different experience of what it means to have superpowers on Earth,” Schechter explained, via Variety. “He was raised with them, he has certain values so there’s some real head-butting and philosophical approaches that are different and we’ll get into all that.”
Supergirl returns October 10th at 8 p.m. ET/PT on The CW.
