Lady Gaga Covers The Beatles and Neil Young at Private DNC Event

Lady Gaga sure knows how to put on a show.

The singer hit the stage to cover a handful of classic tunes – including The Beatles’ “Come Together” and Neil Young’s “Old Man” — at a free, invitation-only concert for delegates to the Democratic National Convention. Gaga was the special guest at Camden Rising, which also featured performances by Lenny Kravitz and DJ Jazzy Jeff.

“[Lady Gaga]’s fighting for all of us,” New Jersey Senator Cory Booker said while introducing her, “from victims of sexual assault to people suffering with mental health. She speaks to the gospel of love that she’s put to a pretty powerful soundtrack.”

Here’s a video posted to Twitter following her performance:

Gaga also performed stripped-down versions of a few of her biggest hits, including “Bad Romance” and “Yoü and I“:

After the show and Clinton’s speech, Gaga also tweeted a photo with her band, writing, “We are so much stronger together. #DNC #StrongerTogether #Vote.”
