David Bowie’s son welcomed a son of his own.

Duncan Jones and his wife Rodene Ronquillo have welcomed their first child, a baby boy named Stenton David Jones. He took to Twitter on Friday (July 29, 2016) to announce that his son arrived several weeks earlier on July 10, exactly six months after his father’s death. The 45-year-old paid a heartwarming tribute to the late singer by naming his boy after him.

“Stenton David Jones. Born July 10th, exactly six months after his grandad made room for him. Love you both so,” the director tweeted alongside a cartoon image.

“All my love and awe to the incredible @rodeneronquillo who made a human being in her belly. Warrior woman & every day, my hero,” he added as a tribute to his wife.

Bowie died on Jan. 10, after a battle with liver cancer.
