Miranda Lambert Cries While Singing Song She Wrote with Blake Shelton

Miranda Lambert is still crying over Blake Shelton.

During a concert Tinley Park, Illinois, on Friday (July 29, 2016), the singer broke down in tears as she performed the song she co-wrote with her ex-husband. She could hardly finish singing her hit “Over You” and had to rely on her fans to help finish the tune that got her super emotional.

Tears poured down Lambert’s face as she tried to get out the heartbreaking lyrics, which include, “You went away, how dare you, I miss you/ They say I’ll be ok, but I’m not going to ever get over you.” Then as she finished the song, she wiped the tears pouring down her face and took to the mic: “Thank you Chicago. I told you I was a mess, thanks for that.”

The former country couple called it quits last year over cheating allegations. Since then Shelton has moved on with Gwen Stefani and Lambert is dating Anderson East.
