Rapper Vanilla Ice had a meltdown at Atlanta’s Hartsfield-Jackson International airport on Monday, Aug. 1 after his flight left without him aboard.
A video of the incident was recorded by a bystander and was later posted on TMZ. Vanilla Ice, whose real name is Robert Van Winkle, told the tabloid that he arrived at the airport an hour early and sat near the Delta counter and was unpleasantly surprised when the gateway door was closed. He jumped up to speak to ask an airline attendant why no one called the flight when a fellow passenger told him, “You gotta watch the monitor, dude.”
This exacerbated Vanilla Ice’s anger and caused him to throw, as described by the video’s documentarian, a “temper tantrum.”
Vanilla Ice threw his ticket at the ticket agent and began cursing at the other passenger, “Shut your f–king mouth… You don’t work here. Shut up!”
The woman who recorded the video also alleges that Van Winkle was sitting on his phone and arrived ten minutes after the cutoff time for boarding according to a report from Page Six.
It seems that Vanilla Ice finds the incident to be #Funny.
Hahha- funniest thing about this video is the guy that was the smart ass, had a TMNT shirt on I told him he's not worthy. #Funny
