Amber Heard Will Return From London to Appear in Court for Her Deposition Against Johnny Depp
Amber Heard will return from her week-long trip to London before her deposition on at 10 a.m. on Saturday (Aug. 6, 2016).
TMZ reports that Johnny Depp’s lawyer plan to “grill” heard on her claims of physical abuse against her estranged husband with inquiries in reference to statements from police and witnesses who allege that she showed no signs of injury and that the condition of her Los Angeles loft did not indicate that there had been a physical fight.
Both parties would have to sign off to allow Depp to be physically present at the deposition given the active restraining order that has been placed against him. Sources tell TMZ that Heard’s lawyer “will not object” to Depp being at the table.
Depp will have to attend his own deposition next week and, according to TMZ’s sources, settlement discussions are ongoing.
