Prince William joked about Prince George's 3rd birthday, which was Friday, saying the little tyke was inundated with gifts

Although they themselves cannot attend, Prince William, Kate Middleton and Prince Harry want to cheer on the Olympic athletes from Great Britain competing in the 2016 Rio Olympics.

The royal trio recorded a special video message on the Kensington Palace Twitter account.

Harry stated, “Each member of Team GB will have a unique journey, but they all share the same aim, to deliver the best performance they possibly can.”

William told the competitors, “London 2012 saw this country come alive with a passion for sport. It saw people of all ages, and from all walks of life, join together to support Team GB.”

Kate, who loves sports just as much as her husband and brother-in-law, added, “We are all so excited to see what can be achieved in Rio.”

“Let’s top 2012,” Prince Harry concluded. “Bring on the great.”
