Tony Bennett Teases Future Collaborations with Lady Gaga, Beyoncé

Tony Bennett is a music icon. So naturally, he’s going to surround himself with vocal powerhouses.

Having already collaborated with Lady Gaga on 2014’s Cheek to Cheek, the 90-year-old crooner has expressed interest in working with Beyoncé on his next musical venture.

“I like Beyoncé so I’d like to do something with her,” Bennett tells People.

“I think we’re going to do that because I’m doing a major special for NBC about three months from now,” he continues. “She’s a wonderful performer and a great person.”

But don’t fret, Bennett will still be making sweet music with Gaga. Albeit not for a little while, the legendary singer also insists that he’ll continue to record with the Mother Monster.

“She’s busy right now,” Bennett tells Billboard, explaining that the two have not commenced work on their new record. “But at the beginning of next year we’ll start doing an album. The first one went way over a million, and it’s still selling.”

Sigh. 2017 cannot come any faster.
