While on stage during the first show of his four-night run at New York City’s Madison Square Garden on Thursday (Aug. 4, 2016), Drake told the crowd that the feuding rumors were all “lies” after Hot 97 DJ Ebro, who eventually admitted to making up the whole thing, claimed on air that Drizzy had informed him he had a diss track about Em waiting in the wings. Calling out the radio station, the 29-year-old then declared that he’ll never do interviews for them again unless longtime Hot 97 staple Funkmaster Flex is fired.

Ebro since responded to Drake’s ultimatum, accusing the OVO emcee of taking advantage of the situation to get more hype out of his MSG shows.
“Drake, you know that I know that the whole Eminem thing this week was a joke,” he said. “But I don’t think he’s really mad about that. I don’t think that’s the issue … For him to set that up like that, he’s very smart.”
Flex, who tried to expose Drake for using a ghostwriter in 2015, also threatened to retaliate, tweeting:
