The 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, have officially begun with Friday’s (Aug. 5, 2016) Opening Ceremony — and boy were there some memorable moments. From the shirtless Tongan flag bearer to Gisele Bündchen’s dance party in the crowd, it was a great opening night.

1. Team Tonga flag bearer Pita Taufatofua turned heads when he stepped out shirtless and oily for his walk — and obviously, the internet went WILD for him.

2. Gisele Bündchen strutting down the longest runway of her life for possibly the last time ever was very bittersweet for everyone.

3. Michael Phelps led the way for Team USA as the nation’s flag bearer, and his big grin said it all. The record-holding swimmer will be competing in his final games this year.

4. Bündchen also showed the whole world her best dance moves when she showed off her Brazilian pride and joined the crowd to dance her butt off.
