Jennifer Aniston and Justin Theroux Celebrated Their One-Year Anniversary Like Normal Folk

Jennifer Aniston and Justin Theroux went all out in celebrating their one-year wedding anniversary plebian style by not doing much at all.

People reports that the couple, whose anniversary was on Friday (Aug. 5, 2016), celebrated 365 days of marital commitment by spending a lot of quality time together when Theroux took a break from filming The Leftovers.

“Justin flew from Australia to L.A. to spend their anniversary week with Jen,” says an inside source. “They relaxed at home, had dinner with friends and had a small anniversary celebration at home.”

Theroux and Aniston won’t let their busy schedules get in the way of their time together, says the same source.

“They won’t spend more than a couple of weeks apart,” they continue. “Ever since they first started dating, they have been very supportive of each other’s careers. Before Justin headed to Australia in July [to film The Leftovers] they spent a month together in the Bahamas, New York City and Virginia. When they are off, they enjoy just relaxing together.”

It was only a year ago that Aniston and Theroux tied the knot in a secret surprise wedding ceremony in Bel Air that was officiated by Jimmy Kimmel. Their first dance was to a song by Sia and they had a legendary Muppets-esque cake, which certainly made for an interesting slice of thawed puppet body part per the one-year tradition.
