Is Adele Performing at Super Bowl 2017?

Adele keeps proving that she's just like us.

Hello from the offside! Adele is reportedly being eyed to perform at next year’s Super Bowl halftime show.

The Sun is claiming that NFL bigwigs are vying to have the “When We Were Young” singer be the headlining musical act after Adele sold out every show on her current world tour.

“There is nobody bigger in the world than Adele right now and organizers are doing absolutely everything they can to try to persuade her to sign up,” a NFL source tells the publication. “She’s sold out every date on her tour, everyone wants a piece of her and they know they can bank on her bringing in the viewers.”

However, Adele is seemingly not on board. The notoriously private songstress, who rarely tours as it is, is said to be reluctant to the idea of performing live in front of millions of fans.

Last year, a reported 115 million viewers tuned in to see Coldplay.

“It’s Adele’s nerves that are the issue — it hasn’t been an easy sell,” the insider explains.

If Adele were to take on gig, she will follow the footsteps of past Super Bowl halftime performers such as Beyoncé, Katy Perry, Michael Jackson, Prince, and Bruno Mars, who co-wrote “All I Ask” with the crooner.
