Frank Ocean Releases Visual Album ‘Endless’ with LP Still on the Way

Frank Ocean is slowly making his way back from his hiatus in the Bermuda Triangle with the release of a visual album, Endless, on Apple Music.

Perhaps he was coerced by Britney Spears road to Glory or Lady Gaga’s awakening of the LG5 era, but Ocean is with us and has new music to share as of Thursday (Aug. 18, 2016) after repeatedly breaking the hearts of fans over the past year with the promise of Boys Don’t Cry and nothing to show for it. Endless, the 18-track, 45-minute visual album, arrives two weeks after the expected release date of his second LP and its visuals resemble those that have run on his website,, in recent weeks. Featured artists include Jonny Greenwood of Radiohead, the producer Arca, singer-songwriter Alex G, and vocalists Jazmine Sullivan and Sampha.

According to Rolling StoneEndless is a separate project from his new album, which will release through Apple over the weekend. It’s reported that Ocean has exchanged the title Boys Don’t Cry in favor of an alternate title that we will soon come to know in the upcoming days.
