Is Dwayne Johnson and Vin Diesel’s ‘Fast 8′ Feud Just a WWE Publicity Stunt?

The feud between Dwayne Johnson and Vin Diesel may just be a publicity stunt for WWE Wrestlemania.

Following the Baywatch star’s attack on his co-star earlier this month in which Johnson Branded Diesel an “unprofessional candy a–” on set, sources claim the beef was nothing more than an exaggerated stunt to promote both Wrestlemania and the release of Fast 8.

“They are playing a huge prank, and it’s all for publicity,” an insider told Life & Style magazine. “The Rock convinced Vin to amp up the drama between them so they could turn it into a WWE match to help promote the April 2017 release of Fast 8.”

So then if what Life & Style is reporting is true — and it might not be considering the tabloid constantly reports false stories — then we should expect an epic fight in the ring.

Meanwhile, Jason Statham, who will reprise his role as villain Deckard Shaw in the film, is refusing to get involved in the feud. “I stay out of any bickering or any troubles that people have. I have nothing to do with it and I don’t want any part of it,” he told People.
