Tom Hiddleston’s Instagram Account Was Hacked

It’s been less than a month since Tom Hiddleston joined Instagram and his account has already been hacked.

On Friday (Aug. 26, 2016), a user going by the name Dr. Pro got into the Thor actor’s account and posted screenshots asking fans to follow several Snapchat accounts.

“No thing new, here,” the anonymous hacker captioned one picture, before sharing the Snapchat account information of users named Mr. Control, Dr. Hura Bii, Dr. RGHX and more. “Don’t worry
We will back account to tom.”

The hacker concluded, “Follow me
I will you some thing important.”

All the shots have since been deleted.

Though nothing incriminating was posted, Hiddleston was not the only recent celebrity to have their Instagram taken over by strangers. According model Chantel Jeffries, her account was hacked last week and a nude photo of former fling Justin Bieber was posted. It was later determined that the naked selfie was a Photoshop job.

Ghostbusters star Leslie Jones’ website was also recently hacked and her personal information — including her passport, driver’s license and photos from her iCloud account — were shared online. The FBI is currently investigating the hacking.
