Did you wonder why Thor or Bruce Banner aka Hulk didn’t participate in Marvel’s Civil War, the little tiff between Steve Rogers aka Captain America and Tony Stark aka Iron Man? Here’s your answer.
Marvel posted the funny video on Facebook (after it was shown at Comic-Con). Apparently, Thor (the hilarious Chris Hemsworth) decided to take a break after Age of Ultron and live a “normal” life in Australia, moving in with a bloke named Daryl.
Having saved the world, Thor wanted some well-deserved “me time,” but it looks like he’s getting on Daryl’s last nerve, especially when Thor asks Daryl to help him craft “electronic mail” to both Stark and Rogers.
Thor, however, is trying to find out what the Infinity Stones are, like he said he was going to – and has a big, colorful “vision” board to help him do it, including the “purple guy” who doesn’t like to stand up (that would be Josh Brolin‘s Thanos).
The best part, however, is when Thor and Banner (equally game Mark Ruffalo) meet up for lunch to discuss why they weren’t invited to take part in the Civil War. Turns out, Tony’s been begging Hulk to join the fight, while Thor has heard nothing from either of Avenger friends. This might have something to do with the fact that Thor has no phone but prefers communication to be sent by raven. You seriously need to watch the above the video for some Sunday laughs.
Hemsworth and his Thor: Ragnarok co-star Tom Hiddleston(aka Loki) have been posting funny Instagram pics on set, which leads us to believe the third Thor installment could have a lot of humor it in it. Let’s hope – and let’s make sure Hemsworth does more comedies in the future. Ragnarok hits theaters next fall on November 3, 2017.
